My name is Kaitlyn Trizna and I am a senior, majoring in communication, at the University of Illinois-Chicago. This blog was created for my Seminar in Media and Communication class in an effort to track technological transformation along with participatory social media (i.e. citizen journalism) and its impact on the traditional media industry. The posts reflect summaries and reactions to class readings infused with a little musical flare (in case you didn’t notice every post’s title is a song name or lyric usually from my favorite artists).
